According to Articles 3 and Article 8 of the Law on entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam No. 47/2014/QH13 as amended and supplemented by Law No. 51/2019/QH14, investment visa is a type of document issued by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to foreign investors and representatives of foreign organizations when investing in Vietnam.
Being granted an investment visa will allow investors and representatives of foreign organizations to enter Vietnam to carry out investment activities in Vietnam. Currently, these investment visas are designated “ĐT”, and its categorized into “ĐT1” to “ĐT4”.
