Continuing our notes on frequently asked questions about investment visas in Vietnam, in this section, we will learn about the duration of each type of investment visa.
According to Article 9 of the Law on entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam No. 47/2014/QH13 as amended and supplemented by Law No. 51/2019/QH14, duration of each type of investment visa as follows:
– The “ĐT1” visa and the “ĐT2” visa are valid for no more than 05 years;
– The “ĐT3” visa is valid for no more than 03 years;
– The “ĐT4” visa is valid for no more than 12 months.
Expired visa will be considered for a new visa.
Visa validity is shorter than the validity of passport or international travel document at least 30 days.
